Giraffe Feeding Platform: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
May close due to weather conditions and giraffe participation.
Naturally Wild Swap Shop 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Reptile and Amphibian House opens at 10:00 a.m.
Tropical Bird House: 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The Bug House opens at 9:30 a.m.
Petting Yard in the Children’s Zoo open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Open April 1 – September 30, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.

The Houston Zoo is located in Hermann Park adjacent to the Texas Medical Center and the Museum District.
Our Main Entrance is at 6200 Hermann Park Drive
Our Medical Center Entrance on Cambridge Street is closed for the rest of the summer.
Freeway Construction Alert: 288 and 610
Over the weekends expect road closures in the 288/610 area through August and September. The intersection of SH-288 (Between Yellowstone and W. Bellfort) and IH-610 (Between Fannin and Scott) will be closed periodically. For the latest updates, visit drive288.com

Parking is not owned or operated by the Houston Zoo
