What’s going on in the elephant habitat at the Houston Zoo? Find out this very minute by checking out our live webcams below. You can enjoy elephants right from your living room via live streaming video – it’s even a great way to check the weather before you head out to the Zoo.
If you’re visiting this webcam before 10:30 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m., you may notice that our elephants aren’t visible. There are a couple reasons for that. First, zookeepers clean the yard and put out treats in the morning, while the elephants are in their barn having their morning bath. In the late afternoon, they go back in the barn to have dinner and get ready for bed. So if they aren’t out where you can see them, tune in again during 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for prime time elephant viewing!
