Guide your students through a fun-filled journey learning about the Houston toad, one of the most endangered amphibians in North America.
Each year in November the Houston Zoo hosts a professional development opportunity called Educator Day – it’s an engaging, enriching, and fun-filled day just for educators! Pre-service teachers, administrators, and educators are welcome. There are workshops, tours, free resources, activities, raffles and more! Educators can earn between 3-6 hours of continuing education.
Check out last year’s brochure for a description of workshops and animal experiences you may see at the next Educator Day!
