Fossa

The fossa (pronounced "foosa" is Madagascar’s largest carnivore and the main predator of lemurs. The fossa must have trees to live in, and the forests of Madagascar are being depleted at an alarming rate. Slash-and-burn agriculture has destroyed more than 90 percent of its tropical forest.
