Show off your most festive photos on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter during TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights for the chance to be featured in our Fan Friday series and win a Houston Zoo swag bag (includes 2 giraffe feeding or Wildlife Carousel tickets, a reusable tote bag, a glowing windmill wand, baseball hat, holiday ornament, water bottle, and face mask).
The contest is during Zoo Lights season from Nov. 14, 2020 to Jan. 10, 2021.
Contest Rules:
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
- Houston Zoo employees and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children) are not eligible to enter.
- There is no purchase necessary to enter or win the Zoo Lights photo contest.
- Photos may include individual or family photos.
- Photos can be submitted Nov. 14-Jan. 10 to our social media channels with the tag @HoustonZoo or with the hashtag #houstonzoo.
- Process: Houston Zoo staff will choose their top most festive photo each week to be featured in our Fan Friday series on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. Winners will be notified each week before the winner’s photo and name will be announced and displayed. Contest entrants will not be compensated or reimbursed for their photo submissions.
- Winners of the contest prizes will be notified via their social media account.
- Contest entrants agree that, if their photo is selected as a winner, the Houston Zoo may use the entrant’s name and photo for promotional purposes possibly including, but not limited to, social media posts and website announcements.
- Contest is open to legal residents of the United States of America. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply and all taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
- Those submitting photos into the contest must be over 18. The subjects of the photos may be of any age.
