Join us at the Zoo at the Great Ape Gallery as we celebrate World Gorilla Day! Activities will include inviting Meet the Keeper Chats, coloring sheets for guests, a grip strength challenge, enrichment in the dayroom for our gorillas, and learning how you can take action to save gorillas in the wild.
Plus, tune in to see our Facebook Live with the team at 11:00 a.m.
This event is included with general admission and is free for members.
Recycle Your Electronics
Your visit to the Houston Zoo helps save animals in the wild. Take it further by recycling old electronics when you come to the Zoo! Drop them off at the entrance to reduce mining in vital habitats, protecting animals like gorillas in the wild. Together, we can save wildlife for future generations! See what you can donate here.
