Turn your fall nights into Zoo nights and experience Houston Zoo After Dark! No tricks here! You’ll get to enjoy MORE Zoo Boo Extended Hours nights this year. On select nights, you can stay at the Zoo until 9:30 p.m., with last entry at 8:00 p.m., and enjoy even more fall fun after the sun goes down.

Wizard Night is made for witches, wizards, and anyone who believes in a little magic.
Meet some of the Zoo’s feathered and scaly friends during Meet the Keeper Chats with owls and snakes, follow the clues during a themed scavenger hunt, and get hands-on with a special horticulture activity.
Grab your wand and get ready for a magical night at the Zoo.
Fall Fest Night | October 2
Come One, Come All
Step right up! Bring your fun and playful crew to our Fall Fest. Challenge your crew with carnival games, then get crafty with a pumpkin DIY activity, and support our conservation efforts.
Come ready to play, create and have a gourd time.
H-Town Sports Night | October 9
H-Town Pride, All Night
H-Town, this one’s for you. Show off your Houston pride with a night packed with sports-themed fun. Challenge your crew to cornhole, Giant Connect Four and Giant Jenga, and more. Keep an eye out for mascot appearances and collect sports-themed animal trading cards along the way.
Come reppin’ your favorite team and ready to make some noise for H-Town.

Once Upon a Night at the Zoo
Once upon a Zoo Boo, there was a night filled with pirates, princesses and fairytale fun.
Meet your favorite characters, enjoy the Pirates & Princesses add-on bundle and a movie screening of How to Train Your Dragon to your evening.
Come dressed as your favorite princess, pirate, dragon or fairytale character and make your own happily ever after.
Villains Night | October 26
A Little Mischief Goes a Long Way
Every great story needs a little mischief! Bring your favorite character to life with themed animal enrichment, a costume contest and themed photo props.
Choose a favorite storybook or superhero villain, dress the part and get ready for some playful trouble.

Ready, player one? Join us for Game Night and bring your little friendly competition to Zoo Boo. We will have themed animal enrichment, a costume contest and themed photo props.
Bring your best game face, pick your favorite character and see if you have what it takes to come out on top.

Prepare for liftoff! Galactic Night takes your Zoo Boo adventure beyond the stars with themed animal enrichment, a costume contest and galactic-inspired photo props.
Astronauts, aliens, space explorers and cosmic creatures are all welcome aboard.

Let Your Wild Side Out
You’re already at the Zoo, so why not make it a wild night?
Safari Night features themed animal enrichment, a costume contest and safari-inspired photo props. Dress like an explorer, ranger or your favorite wild adventurer and see where the night takes you.
Pop Icons Night | October 30
Cue the Spotlight
Lights, camera, karaoke!
Wrap up Zoo Boo Themed Nights with Pop Icons Night and your chance to take the stage. Come dressed as your favorite pop icon, grab the mic and get ready for a night where the Houston Zoo becomes your stage.
