Turn Old T-Shirts Into Reusable Bags

This fun, creative workshop teaches simple ways to reduce waste and make more sustainable choices at home. By repurposing clothing that might otherwise go unused, you’ll learn how small actions can help save wildlife.
Each 30-minute workshop will provide everything you need to create your reusable bag, including shirts, scissors, and decorating materials. No supplies are needed from you — just bring your creativity!

About Wildlife Workshop
The Wildlife Workshop’s mission is to connect guests to their community of wildlife-saving heroes and provide opportunities to practice and grow personal wildlife-saving skills through direct actions.
Visitors will learn more about what the Houston Zoo is doing locally to save wildlife and have the opportunity to join us with various projects. Our interpretive team will be joining guests during these opportunities, offering a familiar face and encouraging guest participation.
