What is happening at Houston Zoo for Mother’s Day?

Houston Zoo is hosting a special Mother’s Day celebration featuring curated experiences, animal encounters, and the chance to see animal moms and their young across habitats throughout the Zoo.

Can you purchase additional tickets with a package?

Looking to bring extra family or friends? You can add on an additional Mother’s Day ticket for $35 that includes: a conservation bracelet, giraffe feeding, a mimosa, and a professional printed photo.

What does the Signature Package include?

Elevate your mom’s special day with our Signature package that includes:

  • Two or Four general admission tickets
  • A professional printed Mother’s Day photo
  • A complimentary mimosa
  • A 30-minute animal experience at one of the following: Asian elephants, giraffes, giant river otters, Galápagos tortoises, or a behind the scenes tour of our Avian Conservation Environment (ACE) building.
  • A Kendra Scott necklace
  • A souvenir conservation bracelet
  • (1) giraffe feeding ticket

Note: For our Signature package, you can only purchase animal experiences based on your ticket quantities of 2 or 4. For example: If you select the two guests Signature package, you can only reserve two tickets from one of the animal experiences.

Do Members receive a discount?

Zoo members can purchase a special Mother’s Day ticket for just $35 that includes: a conservation bracelet, giraffe feeding, a mimosa, and a professional printed photo. Log into your Member Portal to receive the discounted ticket.

Members can also save on our Signature package. When you purchase the two-guest option, save $25, and with the four-guest option, save $35.

For the Premium and Signature package, what is the Kendra Scott necklace?

When you purchase the Premium or Signature package, your mom will be gifted the Kendra Scott Elisa Luxe Gold Short Pendant Necklace in one of the following colors, based on availability.

  • Light Pink CZ (pictured here)
  • Light Green CZ

 

Where can I buy Houston Zoo Mother's Day package?

Tickets can only be purchased online. Early booking is recommended due to limited availability. Buy Houston Zoo Mother’s Day Package here. 

Can I still visit the Zoo on Mother’s Day without a package?

Yes. You can still visit the Houston Zoo on Mother’s Day without purchasing a Mother’s Day package, but a daytime admission ticket is required for non-members. We recommend choosing one of our Mother’s Day packages for unforgettable memories with Mom and a more special experience.
