Get a sneak peek of TXU Energy presents Mythical Realms at our Brunch with Dragons event on Saturday, February 28 or Sunday, March 1, from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at the H-E-B Lone Star Pavilion.

At this event, you’ll enjoy a variety of tasty brunch items, early access to the Zoo, and a first look at our imaginative adventure featuring mythical creatures. Your ticket includes access to explore the Zoo after the event. Note: Mythical Realms will not be accessible after 10:30 a.m.

By attending Brunch with Dragons, you are helping save animals in the wild.

Adult (ages 13 and up): $69
Child (ages 3-12): $49

Members can save $10 on adult and child tickets when you log into the Member Portal to purchase your tickets.

Brunch Offerings

Brunch will include a Medieval Dragon spread featuring baked Scotch eggs, fruit, waffle wands, crispy chicken, meat pies, and mac & cheese. Plus there will be a signature cocktail and mocktail, as well as mimosas, beer, and wine.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to purchase a separate ticket for a child?

Children under the age of two do not need a separate ticket. Children ages 3-12 will need a child ticket in order to attend the event.

What will be on the brunch menu?

Brunch will include a Medieval Dragon spread featuring:

Ember-kissed Dragon Fruit Cauldrons
Dragon Guarded Scotch Egg Bake
Lance Forged Waffle Wands
Kingdom of Macedonia Meat Pies
Fire-Crisp Chicken Shards
Cauldron Creamed Medieval Mac & Cheese

Plus there will be a signature cocktail, the Dragonheart Orchard Elixir, for adults 21 and up, as well as mimosas, beer, and wine. A signature mocktail will also be available. Brunch will be served until 10:00 a.m. A limited number of complimentary reusable mimosa flutes and mocktail cups will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can you bring outside food and beverage?

No, outside food and beverage is not permitted at Brunch with the Dragons.

What happens if it rains?

This event is rain or shine. There are no refunds.

Where should I park?

Free parking is available in Hermann Park near the Zoo’s Main Entrance at 6200 Hermann Park Drive. There are also a few parking alternatives, including rideshare or taking the METRORail. Please note, that our Medical Center entrance is permanently closed.
