Photo Day at the Houston Zoo

Join us for Photo Day!

Saturday, December 16, 2017
7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Join us for Photo Day with the elephants! Guests will have the opportunity to take stunning photos of our Asian elephants during their most active part of the day. If you are itching to take photos of amazing creatures you cannot find anywhere else, then Photo Day is for you!

The zookeepers will host special Meet the Keeper Talks presented by Phillips 66 to bring the elephants into frame and answer your animal questions. Don’t miss the opportunity to get great photos of our beloved elephants, including baby Joy!

Photo Day allows photographers of all skill levels a chance to visit the Zoo and take great animal photos, all before the Zoo opens. Plus, guests can enjoy the cooler morning weather and lighter crowd.

A light continental breakfast is provided for event guests. The Houston Zoo is making strides to reduce plastics, including bottled water, to help save animals like sea turtles in the wild.  Please bring your reusable water bottle with you to this event.

To ensure a great experience, please note that there will be walking for this event so event guests are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes.

This event is rain or shine. All activities are included in your ticket price. Space is limited so buy your tickets today!
