  • Thank you for your interest in the Houston Zoo's Collegiate Conservation Program! This form does not allow you to save progress and we do not accept partial or incomplete applications. Please allow ample time and have all necessary information ready when you begin your application. Feel free to review the short answer questions before you begin to allow time to draft an excellent answer. We require at least 2 references; by listing their information you are providing consent for us to contact them. You will receive a notification confirming your application has been submitted and all applicants will be updated with their status in the first week of March.

I will complete all necessary training for this program and accept ongoing constructive feedback from Zoo staff. I will complete a presentation or culminating project with the intern team that I will take part in presenting to Houston Zoo staff and community partners. I will do everything I can to enhance the experience of colleagues and Zoo guests.
