Walk for the Wild is an in-person 5k supporting the Houston Zoo’s wildlife-saving programs. Bring your herd, come to the Zoo, and get your steps in!
How you will help save wildlife:
Fundraise: Support saving animals around the world—from sea turtles off the Texas Gulf Coast to Asian elephants in Borneo. Help us reach our goal of $150,000! You can earn prizes for being the top individual fundraiser or being apart of the top fundraising team!
Spread the Word: Post about Walk for the Wild on social media and encourage your family & friends to get involved! Tag #HouZooWalkWild
Bring Your Herd: Join us on May 1 as we Walk for the Wild at the Houston Zoo! Enjoy a morning of walking, animals, and an After Party!
Registration Information
Registration is now closed for the Zoo’s Walk for the Wild 5k.
Dates to pick up your T-shirt will be announced via email to all registered participants. T-shirts can also be picked up at Walk for the Wild on May 1.
