At the Staff Conservation Fund (SCF) Superheroes event, meet Houston Zoo staff staff whose heroic projects help save animals in the wild! Find out where in the world they’ve traveled and which animals they have helped. Hone your wildlife-saving skills with fun activities related to these incredible projects.
Each year, many Houston Zoo employees choose to donate a portion of their hard-earned wages to the Staff Conservation Fund. This fund is then used to provide support to staff who successfully apply for funding to bring their project to life, participating in wildlife-saving efforts around the globe.
