Camp Zoofari

Animal Homes for the Holidays

November 19-21

Your camper may know birds make nests and meerkats live in burrows. But, did you know gorillas also make nests or that snakes seek burrows for shelter? Bundle up and discover cozy nests, burrows, hides and more as we explore the spaces animals call home.

Each camp will be an individual, single-day experience with different opportunities.  You can send a camper for just one day or as many as you wish!

Ages 4 – 6

Home is where the heart is for us humans!  But, what makes the best home for an animal?  Many of our basic needs are needed by animals too.  Campers will discover the surprising ways in which animals from around the world have homes just like humans.

Animals are the architects of their own homes, and you can learn how they do it!  From planning to construction, each step is an important one to make sure their home is just right. Find out the basics of building a safe place to live and how the zoo creates amazing habitats for our residents too!
