Welcome CAST participants! Here you'll find lots of options for connecting your students with wild animals and wild places. From formal programming to free videos and activities, we've got you covered! Provide your students with a fun, unique learning experience, all while helping to save animals in the wild.

Virtual Program Options

Virtual Zoo Tours

Available to book Monday through Friday
Tailored for grades K–12
Intended for one or more classrooms to connect at a time (up to 100 connected devices)

Using the Zoom platform, connect with us to take a virtual tour of the Zoo and learn about the animals who live here and how you can help save animals in the wild. This program is interactive and uses multiple methods including live video from our Zoo habitats, up-close animal visitors and other means to create a memorable learning experience.

$125 for 30-minute program includes:
Introduction from our Zoo educator expert

$175 for 45-minute program includes:

Plus one additional animal area

The Houston Zoo has had a busy summer!  We’ve been hosting Facebook live events since March featuring different animals, keepers, and conservation projects.  All of the videos are archived along with free activity sheets to go with them!

This video will give you a good idea of the different types of school programs we offer and what’s included with each.  As a special offer for CAST participants, we’re offering an exclusive view of our brand new Pantanal habitat as an option for your Virtual Zoo Tour.  Mention CAST when filling out the program request form and it can be one of the three habitats visited during the event!
