Valentines Day Candy

How is this related to Wildlife Conservation – really? Yes, there is a method and message, to our madness…

Palm Oil and The Great Chocolate Debate. It can help save the lives of Orangutans and many other species living on Borneo and Sumatra. Palm oil is a form of edible vegetable oil produced from the African oil plam tree (Elaeis guineensis) which has been planted on plantations throughout Malaysia and Indonesia, home to some of the world’s most endangered wildlife. These plantations replace tropical rainforest acreage in staggering numbers.

Rainforest? No. Palm Oil Plantation? Yes.

What we are asking you to do is to be a responsible consumer and purchase products from companies which either do not use palm oil or are part of the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm oil. You can do that by taking a quick look at this Orangutan Friendly Palm Oil Valentine Guide.

I always enjoy the new additions, just wished there was more parking available.

Can we get some crocs or alligators again🤔? Please 😆 love the new additions and the renovated look to some of the exhibits. 👍🏼

what are you adding?

Please don't change the old cypress tree area by the duck pond too much...so nostalgic!

That sounds great! We love the zoo and all the additions it has been adding. Are you doing anything to improve parking?

Parking garage would be fabulous.....it took us over 30 minutes to find a spot!

The transformation/additions at the Houston Zoo over the last 4 or 5 years - nothing short of amazing. Excited to see what this next improvement brings us!

Parking is a huge issue!! I’d be willing to pay for valet parking.

Can you guys add more parking?

Maybe they gonna make more room for the tiger... sooo excited!!!!

Sounds great! However, it’s tough to see all of these amazing things if we don’t have a place to park to get there. We’ve had to leave the zoo at least 3 times bc of parking issues 🤨

So excited for new things... My 25 year old daughter and I travel from Louisiana about twice a year to enjoy the zoo. We love it!!

Some animal interaction would be cool, like pay $15 for 10min with a sloth or animals that aren't likely to hurt humans.

Would love to see the hippos again!

Panda bears please 🐼🐼

I would LOVE to see a bigger habitat for those beautiful, HUGE giraffes ❤❤❤❤

I saw construction on the bear habitat.

More marine animals would be cool.

Any hiring?

You need also a bigger parking lot.

Our Zoo is always working to use all the space for good!!

Ryan, this is what Liam and I encountered the other day that led us to take the different route to the carousel. 🎠🎠

Can’t wait to see it

I love our Duck Pond!!!!

Houston Zoo SMG gold in this post!!
