John P. McGovern Children’s Zoo
No tricks, just treats! The bat cave is overflowing with larger-than-life candy! Feast your eyes on peppermints, candies, and lollipops bigger than your head! This is a Halloween treat you won’t want to miss.

Zoo Boo Mystery Boxes
Are you brave enough to feel what’s inside? Learn interesting animal facts as you try and guess what’s in the mystery box!
All Zoo Boo activities are included with your paid Zoo admission. Zoo Boo is FREE for Zoo Members!
Not a Zoo member? Purchase your General Admission ticket now (valid for 90 days) and skip the ticket lines.
Have you ever wanted to howl like a howler monkey? Do you know what howler monkeys eat? Learn this and more at Howlerween at the Wortham World of Primates.
Kids can follow the adventures of Zoe the Zookeeper as she helps wildlife officials in Belize rehabilitate and release howler monkeys rescued from the pet trade. With their Field Researcher’s Guide and logbook, kids will learn what howler monkeys look like, what they sound like, what they eat and how to spot them in the wild.
We will also have some beautiful animal-themed items for sale on Saturdays and Sundays, with all proceeds directly benefitting howler monkey conservation in the wild. Come help us celebrate Howlerween and learn all about howler monkey conservation in Belize!
Zoo Boo is a family-friendly event; all costumes must be appropriate for all ages.
