Be a Friend of Frogs

It would be irresponsible to inform you about the Global Amphibian Crisis without also suggesting ways in which you, your family and friends can help ensure the survival of these gentle and amazing creatures. In this section of the website we offer ways for you to keep better informed about the status of amphibians around the world, to join with other concerned individuals and become directly involved in field surveys or habitat protection efforts in your region, or perhaps to launch a project right in your own backyard to create safe havens for native amphibians. 

We will also introduce you to rescue efforts that have been undertaken by the Houston Zoo here in Texas and in other parts of the world. These projects are always in need of additional support and we encourage you to read more about them.
