
Camp Zoofari is an action-packed, hands-on, week-long day camp for kids ages 4-12. Kids learn about the natural world, wildlife conservation and the animals that call the Houston Zoo home. These educational, fun-filled camps fill quickly, so be sure to register soon!
Camp is from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily.
Before and after camp care are not available.

Camp Descriptions
This winter join "A View of the Zoo", discovering the ins and outs of animal care, food preparation, and even exhibit construction. All camps are for ages 4-12; participants will be divided according to the following age categories: 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12. There will be two sections of 4-5 and 6-7 year-old camps each day.

Cost
$55 per child per day
Before and After Camp care is not available. A charge of $1 per minute will be assessed for any camper who is not picked up by 4:15 p.m. We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond your control occur, and we will be as accommodating as possible. If a problem arises that prevents you from arriving by 4:15 p.m., please call the Education Department at 713-533-6739. Unfortunately, heavy traffic and road construction are not unusual in Houston, so please plan accordingly.
Registration Information
Registration begins November 3. Camp registrations are only accepted via our online registration system.
There will be two sections of 4-5 and 6-7 year-old camps each day. Requests for children to be placed in the same section must be emailed to education@houstonzoo.org at least 48 hours in advance and are not guaranteed. No roster changes will be made the day of camp.

Cancellations

Patrons who provide a written notice of cancellation to the
Group Sales Department (1513 N. MacGregor, Houston, TX 77030) on or before 6 weeks (42 days) prior to the program date will receive a full refund. No refund will be issued after this date. Program and date changes are not available for Camp Zoofari.
The Houston Zoo reserves the right to cancel any program due to minimum enrollment, inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be issued. Cancellations are official upon receipt of confirmation from the Houston Zoo.
