If accepted into the internship program, participants must comply with Houston Zoo appearance standards that include no visible tattoos on the face, neck or hands. Hair must be of a neutral/natural color.
If preferred, recommendation letters may be emailed directly to email@example.com with "HZ internship recommendation letter" in the subject line (please upload placeholder document indicating this option). Remind references to send this document before the application deadline or you will not be considered further. Applicant name must be referenced in the letter.

The spring application period closes November 1. If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by November 30.
