Valentine's Day Brunch Frequently Asked Questions

What time is the event?
Brunch will begin at 11am with the touch animals to mingle with the guests during a portion of the event.  The event will conclude around 1 p.m. and you will have free admission to stroll around the Zoo.

What will the dinner be? 
Southern grits and grillades, pancakes, home style potatoes, bacon, ham carving station with rolls and sauces, fruit display, garden salad, and muffins.
 
Is it hosted or cash bar?
Every attendee will be served a starter drink of a mimosa or bloody mary.  If you want additional drinks, we will have a cash bar, fully stocked.  Drinks are $4 for beer, $5.50 for wine, and $6 for mixed drinks.

Where do I park? 
Please park in our main parking lot, off Golf Course Drive.

Where do I enter?
Please enter through Gate 5, at the Brown Education Center.  There will be a banner and a security officer at the Gate.  
 
Do I need a ticket to enter?
Please bring a copy of the confirmation letter you receive upon purchasing tickets.  We will have a check in table right inside the building.

Is there assigned seating?
There is no assigned seating, but there will be plenty of seating for everyone.  There will be 8 people per table, so we encourage you to meet other guests!

What’s the dress code? 
There is no specific dress code.  You can come in jeans or in your Sunday best. 
What happens if it rains? No fear, the event is indoors!

Can I visit the Zoo before the event? 
Your event registration does include Zoo admission.  The Zoo is open until 6pm.
