Children ages 3 -5, with an adult, will enjoy learning about animals in this zoo-rific preschool program!
Safari School
Ages 3-5
Wednesdays or Saturdays
10-11 am
$20 per class for members (includes 1 adult);
$10 for an additional child
$30 per class for non-members (includes 1 adult);
$10 for an additional child
Join us with your preschooler for an hour-long safari through the animal kingdom to explore the world of wildlife. Each week we'll learn about a
new animal through interactive learning stations, hands-on activities, exhibit visits, touchable animals, and more!
Coming up the week of December 2: Bongos
Bongos are naturally shy and secretive, but you won’t have to work too hard to find out more about them in this class! Join us as we learn how these large antelopes hide in their forest habitat, make our own bongo horns, and see what the Houston Zoo is doing to help save the bongo.

Registration Information
Cancellations
Patrons who provide a written notice of cancellation to the Group Sales Department (1513 N. MacGregor, Houston, TX 77030) on or before 6 weeks (42 days) prior to the program date will receive a full refund. No refund will be issued after this date. Program and date changes must be made at least 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the program date and are subject to availability.
The Houston Zoo reserves the right to cancel any program due to minimum enrollment, inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund will be issued.
Cancellations are official upon receipt of confirmation from the Houston Zoo.
