The Snakes in Your Neighborhood
May 23, 2015

10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Join us on Saturday, May 23 to find out all about our local Houston snakes. You’ll see our most commonly encountered snakes up close in aquariums. Can you tell a rattlesnake’s age by the number of rattles? If you see one snake, are you likely to see another? Are baby snakes more toxic than adults? Myths and misconceptions abound when it comes to snakes, so come and learn the truth about them. Zookeepers will be on hand to answer all of your questions.

This event is free with your paid zoo admission and is free for zoo members.
