Important Memorial Day Update!
The Brown Education Center will be closed Memorial Day for the construction of temporary classrooms for Camp Zoofari, the Houston Zoo’s
summer day camp.
The next Houston Zoo Free Day
is the Columbus Day
(Second Monday in October).
Houston Zoo Free Day Schedule:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Day (Third Monday in January)
- President’s Day (Third Monday in February – many schools observe)
- Columbus Day (Second Monday in October)
- Friday after Thanksgiving Day

Visit the courtesy booth of any Fiesta Mart in the Houston area to purchase an adult Zoo admission for $8 and a child Zoo admission for $5.
