Feast with the Beasts Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for purchasing tickets for the Houston Zoo’s sixth annual Feast with the Beasts. This year over sixty restaurants will provide samples of their signature dishes and The B-52s will perform live! All this set against the Zoo’s naturally wild backdrop will certainly provide an evening to remember.
Below are the answers to the most common questions we get:

Remind me again when the event is? The event is Friday, November 4, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Food will be served from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. The B-52s will perform after the food service.

How can I purchase tickets? Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.houstonzoo.org/Feast. From there, click on the green "Purchase Tickets" button and you will be directed to our online store. If you have a promo code, please type it in when prompted, and if you’re a Zoo Member be sure to log in so you receive your discount.

What all does my ticket include? Your admission ticket will allow you to enjoy sample-size food from any or all of the 60 participating restaurants, two beverages, animal presentations presented by H-E-B, access to the Zoo Brew Garden presented by Saint Arnold, and live musical entertainment by The B-52s. Additional beverages can be purchased for $5 each – be sure to bring cash!

Can you tell me more about the VIP Tickets to the private Lounge? The $150 VIP experience will allow you to enter the Zoo 30 minutes early so you can enjoy Feast with the Beasts with no lines! Your VIP ticket also gains you access into the Bud Light Lounge hosted by 94.5 The Buzz's Rod Ryan where you'll enjoy private patio seating, an open bar, and special animal experiences just for you.

How old do I have to be to attend? This event is for guests 21 years of age and older. IDs will be checked prior to entry that night.

Will there be any animal guests? There will be Meet the Keeper Talks and animal experiences scheduled throughout the evening.

What is the Beastly Battle? As you sample food you’ll be able to vote for your favorite cuisine. The restaurants who receive the most votes will win prizes.

What is the attire? You can wear whatever you will be comfortable in – some people will wear cocktail dresses, some will wear jeans. Please remember that you will be outside and walking, so dress appropriately.

Where do I park? Our main parking lot is located at 6200 Hermann Park Drive, and parking will also be available throughout the Hermann Park parking areas. This year Feast with the Beasts guests can also park in the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Parking Garage at 6400 Fannin.
Parking can be difficult, so we encourage you to arrive early and carpool if possible. The Zoo’s Main Gate and Medical Center Gate will both be open this year. Insider tip! Arrive to the Medical Center Gate for shorter admission and food booth lines!

What happens if it rains? This event is rain or shine.

What if I have to cancel prior to the event? We’re sorry, but payment for this event is non-refundable.

Is my ticket price tax deductible? Fair market value of benefits received is $60 per ticket. Support for Feast with the Beasts will be directed to the Houston Zoo’s conservation, education, and animal care programs.
