2009 Zoo Friends Family Party

Thank you and congratulations Zoo Friends on a successful Family Party!

On Friday, May 1, the Houston Zoo was the happening “scene”.  Dudes and chicks arrived in their funkiest and most psychedelic attire and had a shagadelic good time at the 2009 Zoo Friends of Houston Family Party – The Beasts Go On.   From 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm, the Zoo was grooving to 60’s themed music as guests “scarfed” food catered by Swift & Co.  The “far-out” party was fun for all ages complete with inflatables, a silent auction, games, Hula Hoop Girl, Yo-Yo Man and Roller Girl entertaining the crowd. Proceeds from the Family Party benefitted the education, conservation and animal programs of the Houston Zoo.
