Looking for a fun and exciting way to enjoy the Houston Zoo as a family? Take part in one of our popular family programs. This spring we will be focusing on animals of all sizes: from the smallest leaf cutter ant to the largest mammal in the world and all the critters in between. Sign up today – spaces are limited!

Come along with us on a Zoo Yoga adventure! Whether you are new to yoga or just looking to strengthen your practice, we will discover how you can make a difference for animals, both locally and world wide.

Spring 2016 Class Dates

May 7 Extreme Creatures

Don’t have a yoga mat? No problem! Rent a mat for $2 each or purchase an official Zoo Yoga mat for $20. This program is built for kids ages 2-10 with their parents. Class is held the first Saturday of each month from 9:15-10:15am. Please bring a bottle of water and wear modest, comfortable clothing.

Zoo Members: 1 Adult & Child – $20
Non-Members: 1 Adult & Child – $30 (includes admission)

A ticket is required for all participants. The maximum capacity is 20 participants (adults and children). Zoo Yoga meets in the Brown Education Center to the left of the main Zoo entrance right behind the Natural Encounters building.

Enjoy the wild outdoors with your infant or toddler with Wild Wheels! Individuals and parent groups welcome. Throughout this season we will focus on strengthening your child’s kinesthetic skills through multi-sensory play and animal encounters.

There are two ways to participate this spring:

Purchase individual programs

This program is built for kids ages 0-3 with parents. Class is held from 9:15-10:15am on program dates. A ticket is required for all participants. The maximum capacity is 20 participants (adults and children). Wild Wheels meets at the benches right inside the main Zoo entrance.
