This month\’s Member Morning features the Natural Encounters Building!
The Houston Zoo is open at 8:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month for Members Only. This will give you the opportunity to view our dedicated staff prepare the zoo for a new day.
During your visit we offer you a chance to hear from one of our Zoo’s experts and gain professional insight about a select animal resident or area. Learn from the best in the field about what it really takes to care for the diverse animals that call the Zoo home.
Programs begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Approximate program length is 30 minutes. Registration is not required. Please bring your membership card and photo ID as usual. Due to early admission, not every animal is available at this time.
Please note that in November the Members First Saturday/Member Morning will be held on the second Saturday, November 9, 2013.
