The Houston Zoo is open one hour early at 8:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month for Members only! Enjoy cooler weather and see animals just as they come outside for the day, a time of day when they are most active.
Member Mornings include a special Meet the Keeper Talk that begins at 8:30 a.m. – hear from one of our Zoo’s experts and gain professional insight about a select animal or area. Learn from the best in the field about what it really takes to care for the diverse animals that call the Zoo home!
Children and parents will have fun getting fit as a family at the Zoo by stretching their bodies and minds with yoga! This beginner level class is open to children ages 4-10 and their parents.
