How are snakes an important part of our environment? Experts will be on hand to answer all of your questions!

Join us as our animals participate in their very own Animal Egg Hunt! Our gorillas, meerkats, and even the elephants are receiving their own egg-themed enrichment throughout the day. Visit them at their habitats in the Houston Zoo and see them hunt, eat, and play with eggs of all sizes!
This event is included with your paid Zoo admission and is free for Zoo Members.
Daylight savings will begin on Sunday, March 12. We will shift to summer hours, open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., last entry 6 p.m.
Join us for a day filled with celebrating our very own Zoo heroes! Meet Houston Zoo staff who have led conservation projects in the wild, working with species from howler monkeys to elephants to corals. You can also meet with conservationists from around the world, including Belize and Africa, and learn about the work they do throughout the year to save these animals in the wild.
Plus, you can participate in activities throughout the Zoo and learn how YOU can help save animals in the wild!
