Celebrate World Giraffe Day

Celebrate giraffes and learn more about these long-necked giants on the longest day of the year. Festivities will include children’s crafts, giraffe bio facts you can touch, opportunities to meet the giraffe keepers, a special giraffe-themed photo booth, the chance to purchase giraffe paintings, and more!

Populations of giraffes in the wild have declined 40% within the last 15 years. They have already gone extinct in 7 different African countries. We need to act now to protect their habitat and reverse that trend! All donations will go to support the Giraffe Conservation Foundation.

Event: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. next to the giraffe habitat
11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. – Giraffe meet the keeper talks

This free event is included with your paid zoo admission and is free for zoo members.
