Description: &lt;p&gt;Performs all Accounts Payable functions in a fully integrated accounting/purchasing/inventory system.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Matches invoices to purchase order and goods received documentation where appropriate to ensure accurate payment&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Review coding for accuracy&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Processes all invoices for payment and ensures all appropriate documentation and approvals are in the accounting system and purchasing system.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Prepares checks and maintains check log.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Maintains all electronic and paper vendor files and responds to all vendor inquiries.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Works closely with Purchasing department to trouble shoot and resolve discrepancies between invoice and PO quantities and amounts in a timely manner.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Contacts vendors as necessary to resolve discrepancies and processes vendor adjustments&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Notifies appropriate staff and handles staff inquiries concerning outstanding issues and payments&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Prepares all 1099 reporting.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Prepares all A/P related schedules for the annual audit.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Assists with all testing and implementation of new automated systems and upgrades.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Assists with any other accounting functions as required. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Performs other duties as requested.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

Required Experience: &lt;p&gt;Minimum 3 &#8211; 5 years full cycle accounts payable processing, including knowledge of debits/credits and journal entries, in a fully integrated system.&amp;nbsp; Requires excellent problem solving and computer skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Education Required: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in accounting or closely related field is desirable.&lt;br /&gt;
