Earth Day Presented by Waste Management

April 19th and 20th
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


 
 

Join the Houston Zoo April 19th and 20th from 9am to 3pm each day for Earth Day presented by Waste Management.
 
It’s a Party for the Planet and you are invited! Participate in fun conservation activities, listen to informative keeper chats or participate in fun contests and a recycling relay race. Kids can get “go green” tips from ‘Recycle Ben’ and meet Waste Management Cycler, the robot who makes recycling fun!
 
In part of the Earth Day celebration, Waste Management and Sony Electronics will host a free recycling event here in Houston! Celebrate Earth Day by recycling your old computers, TV's, printers and more for FREE. Drop off old electronics on Saturday only, April 19th from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Rice University Stadium -West side of the stadium, entrance at Rice Boulevard at Whitley.
 
This event is part of the Sony/Waste Management National Take Back Recycling Program and locally sponsored by the Houston Zoo.
