Donuts and Dinos!

DINOSAURS has been extended through October 31!

Come early at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 25th and wander through the Zoo’s DINOSAURS! exhibit before our normal opening time. Afterwards, attend a special program in our BEC Auditorium presented by Dinosaurs Rock of Texas. Enjoy a 45 minute entertaining dinosaur lecture and touch real dinosaur eggs and dino poop! Dig for fossils and enter to win an authentic prehistoric specimen.

Schedule of events:

8:30 - 9:00 a.m. Gates open, check-in/registration and access to DINOSAURS! exhibit before zoo opens
9:00 - 9:15 a.m. Continental breakfast inside the BEC Auditorium
9:15 -10:15 a.m. Dinosaurs Rock Texas presentation and Fossil Dig!

You won't want to miss this special DINOSAURS! event.

Ticket Prices:

A continental breakfast and all-day access to the Zoo are included!!

Zoo Member Tickets are $21 for adults and $16.50 for children (ages 2 – 12)

Non-Zoo Member Tickets are $25 for adults and $20.50 for children (ages 2 – 12)

WALK-UP REGISTRATION AVAILABLE AT 8:30AM ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT

Questions and Answers

What time is the event?
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 10:15 a.m.

Where do I park?
Please park in our main parking lot, off Hermann Park Drive.

Where do I enter?
Please enter through Gate 5 at the Brown Education Center. From there it's a short walk to the DINOSAURS! exhibit entrance.

Do I need a ticket to enter?
Please bring a copy of the confirmation letter you receive upon purchasing tickets.

Will there be food?
We will provide a light continental breakfast of donuts, kolaches, waters, juices and coffee.

What's the dress code?
This is a casual event so please dress comfortably.

What happens if it rains?
This event is rain or shine.

Can I visit the Zoo after the event?
Yes! The Zoo opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m.
