Donation Request Form
Donation Requests
The Houston Zoo is pleased to consider requests for your charitable organization’s donations* in support of fundraising events for licensed nonprofit organizations in the Greater Houston Area. Please review this in its entirety for donation policies and procedures. While each request receives careful consideration, we regret that we are unable to accommodate all organizations that ask for and merit our assistance.
As of October 1, 2010, no requests by phone or mail will be accepted. All requests must be filled out on line.
- All donation requests must be made through our online application, and received by the Zoo a minimum of one month prior to the event for review and processing.
- Upon completion of the online donation form, please attach a copy of your organization’s formal letter of request for donation. Incomplete requests cannot be completed.
- Each organization will only receive one donation from the Houston Zoo per calendar year, and are encouraged to list the Houston Zoo on all fundraiser collateral.
- No donations will be made that benefit a specific individual or family.
- Due to the tremendous volume of inquiries we receive, we can not guarantee full consideration of a request that is submitted within the month of the event.
- We try our best to fulfill all requests within one to two weeks prior to your event.
*Donations are generally in the form of a "family four-pack" (2 adults, 2 children, and 2 carousel tickets) of admission tickets each valid for one daytime admission to the Zoo. Tickets must be used prior to their printed expiration date. No cash value. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the Zoo is unable to provide financial sponsorships or program advertising in support of fundraising events.
