Adventures in the Rainforest - $225 full day; $125 half day
Enter the depths of the rainforest and discover some of the world's most intriguing creatures. Learn about the many jewels of the rainforest ecosystem, from poison dart frogs to Asian elephants.

Are reptiles slimy? Do birds have hair? We'll uncover how animals are the same - and how they are different - as we investigate where they live, how they look, and what they do.

It's Raining (Wild) Cats and Dogs - $225 full day; $125 half day
Meet the fantastic felines and clever canines at the Houston Zoo! Join in the flood of fun as we discover the similarities and differences between these "wild" relatives to the dogs and cats that may share your home.
Full day: June 8-12, June 22-26, July 13-17, July 27-31, August 10-14

Fast and slow, big and small, the Houston Zoo has got them all! From cheetahs to tortoises, elephants to naked mole rats, we'll look at examples of opposites from around the world.

Registration Information
Registration dates are determined by Zoo membership level. You may upgrade your membership by visiting www.houstonzoo.org/membership.

There will be multiple sections of ALL full day camps each week. Special requests to pair relatives or friends together must be made in writing at least 1 week in advance to the start date of the camp. Roster changes will NOT be made at any time during camp, including check-in. Children must be the same age and registered for the same camp. Requests are not guaranteed, and no exceptions to class sizes will be made. Please send all requests to our Education Department.
IMPORTANT: Camps may be sold out before noted on the website. Please click Register to check for camp availability. If the camp you are looking for does not appear in the drop down list, then the camp is sold out.
