We have moved the Gala festivities to the Masihara Pavilion in the African Forest here at the Zoo, which will be a beautiful (not to mention cozy and dry) setting for the evening.

 - The VIP reception will begin at 6:30 pm and the Gala will begin at 7:30 pm on Saturday. Be sure to note which ticket you have reserved or purchased and arrive at the appropriate time. Paper tickets or confirmations are not required – we will have a roster of all reservations at the door.

- Please arrive at the main entrance of the Zoo at 6200 Hermann Park Drive. Complimentary self parking will be available.

- Though the Masihara Pavilion is a covered and protected space and we will have heaters, please dress comfortably for the weather. We anticipate a festively chilly evening and encourage you to bundle up appropriately.

- We will have carts available to take you from the check-in area to the Masihara Pavilion for the evening’s events, and guests are welcome to walk as well. If it is raining, we also encourage you to bring an umbrella to stay dry for the short trip from the parking lot to the Pavilion.

- We will have an exciting group of Zoo items for our silent auction as well as a number of exclusive opportunities to purchase Instant Animal Experiences to enjoy immediately with your friends and guests. Please see below for a sneak peek!

Becoming an Ambassador

$500 Couple / $250 Individual Annual Membership

If you are currently a member of the Zoo and wish to join Ambassadors, you can do so over the phone by calling Sara Campbell, at 713.533.6716, during normal business hours.

 
Ambassadors will receive the following membership benefits:

• Unlimited complimentary regular Zoo admission for 1 household (3 named adults and all dependant children, or any four guests) for one year with exclusive use of the members’ express entrance. 
• Discounted admission to the Zoo’s annual Feast with the Beasts event
• Monthly Member Morning presentations
• Free admission to the Zoo’s lecture series, Call of the Wild
• Free or discounted admission to more than 150 Zoos across the nation
• Priority registration for Camp Zoofari (for children within your household)
