Adult and Child Admissions To Increase December 15
Effective December 15, 2009, the Houston Zoo will increase adult and child general admission ticket prices by one dollar each. Admission prices for tickets purchased at the Zoo admission booths will be $11 for adults (age 12 to 64) and $7 for children (age 2 to 12). Admission prices for seniors will remain unchanged at $6. Children under two years of age are admitted free of charge. The increase in adult admission fees is the first since 2007.
The Zoo will continue to offer discounted admission tickets through its partnership with Fiesta Mart grocery stores. Houston Zoo admission tickets may be purchased at the courtesy booths of 33 Fiesta Mart stores through out the Houston area for $9 for adults and $6 for children.
